recently made known YORK--Artwise/Rareposters recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. The company got its start in 1992 according to Bernard Rougerie and has grown to include more than 2000 editions and representation of members of the European art placard publishing market. The company has business relationships with the Maeght Institute, a large contemporary art publishing house, the Mourlot Imprimeur and the Lincoln Center in novel York, which every year publishes placards by well known contemporary artists for its contrive series. Previous artists have included Jacob Lawrence, Helen Frankenthaler, Kenny Schaff, Julian Schnabel, Larry Rivers and Sol Lewitt. Rougerie also bought a considerable inventory of images from the Paris Review series and also from the Pace Gallery.

The company has brace divisions, Artwise (for open editions) and RarePosters (for clos editions, s/n editions and more).
