PAM Fastening Technology of Charlotte, NC has newly introduced a pneumatic under pinning consequence for low- to medium-production step quicklys of four-, six- and eight-sided molding. The PILM 5x5 AS joins mitered pieces of mouldings tightly with a mail "V" nail (single sharp for fine woods and double sharp for hard woods) These nails are supplied in strip form in four sizes (5mm 7mm 10mm and 12mm) There are sum of two units settable positions on this machine, on the contrary it may be positioned anywhere between the positions to attain a greater position range. Stacking united nail behind the other is possible for up to five staples. The Joint 5X5 AS is equipped with a pneumatic brake and a horizontal clamp which take rises in from the front of the machine to stabilize the rabbet. The machine scampers strictly on air, requiring an air compressor capable of a minimum of 120 psi. A frontal safety shield is standard.
