BENSALEM.BENSALEM, Pa.--Artist Marcus Antonius Jansen newly signed with Ataraxia Studio, and his "Concrete Canvas Series" is now being published at the company. Company officials say they are"delighted to publish in the same state [i]or[/i] condition a magnificent artist whose life and work is in the way that distinct and exceptional." Jansen's first showing was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1968 as part of a of the present day York City school art competition. Since then, he has exhibited at Oprah Winfrey's Color display in Chicago. In 1999, he was chosen as the winner of a national art competition with "Subway 82" the same of the works within the "Concrete Canvas Series." Since then, he has had more than 20 gallery exhibitions.
