TORRANCE, Calif.--Colville Publishing has announced it will now take the part of the oils of Jesse Powell, son of established company artist John Powell.

John Powell is single in kind of the Colville's founding artists and is still united of its top sellers, according to company officials. Jesse Powell is in his mid-20s and is publicly painting full time to unravel his artistry. He spent the summer in Russia at the King Erekle drill of Arts in the Republic of Georgia working with instructors forward his painting. In this program they painted from dawn to dusk, and Jesse said it was the best educational experience of his life.

Jesse creates greatest in quantity of his paintings from life or smaller oil sketches that are done en pleine air. He said he is influenced by the agency of the California Impressionists, Colville caster and artist Christian Title and his father.

"Along with my formal education, also remember that I have grown up studying with and watching my dad," said Jesse "He has given me more knowledge and education than anyone concerning painting. Although we paint in excessively different styles, his painting and commitment to art has had a tremendous influence upon me."



According to Colville's Victoria Berg, the increase of Jesse's painting progresses with each oil. "We be excited strongly that he is an artist that we want to delineate as he develops his talent," she said.
