WALNUT cove Calif.--Aaron Ashley has been acquired by the agency of Bentley Publishing Group. Founded in 1928 the Aaron Ashley company will continue to operate as a separate business and will continue shipping from its Yonker NY facility.

Phil Ginsburg, president of Aaron Ashley, began with the firm in 1953 and will be retiring after the transition. Ginsburg said, "Aaron Ashley has been in my family since 1928 and has been my `baby' for nearly 50 years. nevertheless the time had come to find a fresh home for Aaron Ashley, and the clear choice was Robert Sher and Bentley Publishing collection Robert, his family and his team are astonishing people with the same values that built our company during the last hundred This move guarantees that Aaron Ashley's customers and artists will be treated well in the of the present day century."

Sher, president of Bentley Publishing cluster said, "We are honored on being entrusted with the stewardship of this venerable company. For 73 years Phil Ginsburg, and before him his uncle Aaron Ginsburg and partner Ashley Leavitt, established and maintained Aaron Ashley as the dominant source for traditional, museum reproductions. This is a whole addition to our other publishing companies and gives us uniform more breadth in product selection. Aaron Ashley will continue to be the leader in traditional museum reproductions for many years to come"

Henry Kuver Aaron Ashley's vice president of operations and a member of the team since 1958 will continue in that capacity, handling the Yonker warehouse. Sher said, "Henry Kuver has an incredible service record of 43 years with the firm. It is rare to find a man in this way dedicated, organized and loyal. We are delighted to continue working with him."

Orders for Aaron Ashley should be placed at Bentley Publishing Group's California headquarters, and all Aaron Ashley orders will be shipped separately from the Yonker facility. There are no plans to consolidate warehouses.
