CORAL GABLES, Fla.---Coral Gables International Art Center not long ago held an exhibit of the latest carved work from Tania DePrima entitled "Gabriella." The life-sized plastic art is made of Bianca Carrara marble, which is the same Michelangelo used for "David." DePrima's chisel calls forth the women of the of recent origin millennium to celebrate their femininity. The classically-inspired piece aims to show all women. "When women contemplate at her, they see their reflection, because `Gabriella' has in her conception a part that describes all women in the world," she said. Her nearest piece, "The Falling Angel," will make corporeal the idea of women's vulnerability and the seduction of innocence, according to the company.
